After finishing the regular season off strong with a 13–7 win over the Kitchener Panthers, the first-place Majors enjoyed a bye week as they waited for their semi-final opponent to be determined.
Up next:
The Majors will host the 6th-place Brantford Red Sox in a best-of-three semi-final playoff starting Friday. The Red Sox swept the third-place Kitchener Panthers in the quarter-finals to advance to the semis.

Men
FC London extended their win streak to five games last weekend with a 4-2 win over Brampton ProStars on Saturday night.
Up next:
The team will look to make it six in a row when they host the Oakville Blue Devils on Friday at the Hellenic Community Centre.

Women
The women remain undefeated to start the season after they beat the North Toronto Nitros, 4-0, on Saturday night. Jade Kovacevic logged her third hat trick of the season (with the final goal coming at the 90-minute mark).

The team will look for a seventh straight win this Sunday when they take on the Woodbridge Strikers.

After splitting their first two preseason games, the Knights enjoyed their first of two weeks off before they’ll return to preseason action on September 24. London lost its first exhibition game of the year, a contest against the Sarnia Sting in front of 1,000 fans at Budweiser Gardens. Leading the Sting 2-0 in the second period, the Knights allowed a pair of unanswered goals and lost 3-2 in a shootout. The team bounced back in their next game, beating the Sting 6-3 on the road. Colton Smith got the Knights off to a quick start in that one, scoring twice in 12 seconds.

The Knights will look to build on the success they had in their most recent exhibition game as they continue their preseason.

The Nationals went 2-0 last week, beating the Strathroy Rockets, 4-2, on Saturday, and the Pelham Panthers, 5-1, on Sunday. Jeff Burridge had four goals and an assist over the two games. Josh Kirton allowed one goal on 25 shots on Sunday.

The Nationals will look to continue their success over their final two preseason games before opening the regular season on September 24 against the St. Thomas Stars.
